Individual Counselling

Tired of feeling tired? Sick of worrying about your relationship? Fed up with your stress? People may access counselling for a variety of reasons. I work with a clients who may be experiencing a wide array of issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity development, family and relationship concerns, and general coping skills.

I use an eclectic approach to tailor my services to each clients with a focus on how social and cultural factors may be impacting them. I utilize techniques from existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy, and emotionally focused therapy to build authentic connections with my clients.

​

Reaching out for help can be an intimidating step. My goal is to provide you with a safe and judgement free space where we can work collaboratively to build new skills and learn new ways to approach life's challenges.

Farewell Fur-Ever Friends Group

Have you had to say farewell to a pet, service animal, or working companion? Losing a pet can be challenging in itself, but being unable to share feelings of loss with those in our lives who have not experienced this unique relationship can cause even more hurt. 

The Farewell Fur-ever Friends grief group is a space where you can share your experience and receive support following the loss of a furry friend without judgement. 

Telephone and Video Counselling

 Accessing in person therapy can be difficult for a variety of reasons including mobility issues, busy life schedules, anxieties about attending therapy, or living in a remote location. Video and telephone counselling allows you to access therapy without having to leave the comfort of your own home.

I believe that each individual's journey to healing is fostered by the opportunity to explore their unique and authentic thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. I believe that in order to grow and heal from past experiences, we need to address how both body and mind are impacted. 

​

My treatment approaches include client-centered therapy, emotionally-focused therapy, existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy. I also tailor my approach for clients who connect more easily through other methods, such as art and music therapy.

​

I work with individuals ranging from 18+ years old of all backgrounds. My goal is to provide support that is suited to the needs of each client by fostering a calm, genuine, and relaxed environment.
